Subject: Problems accessing the new Lightwave ftp site

I'm curious if anyone else has tried to reach the ftp site dedicated to
Lightwave. The site is located at tomahawk.welch.jhu.edu. I've tried using
my ftp software and the Netscape browser to get to the site - both of which
gave widely different results. My ftp software (SLIP access) connected to
the server, but spent 25 minutes or more displaying the opening description
of the archive - then unceremoniously dumped my connection. When I tried
Netscape it took 25 minutes to contact the server and "show" me the home
page, even without autoloading images. Once connected I was able to see a
list of the services the site offered. When I selected recent uploads I did
see a list of 20 or so files; but when I selected the \pub\lw directory
where the other files are located, I was once again only able to see the one
page description the ftp site.
Anyone else have this problem? I'd also like to know if the site has
anything worthwhile. I'd hate to burn up all of my online time just waiting
for my software to connect to a server, or worse trying to download files.
Thanks,
John Walther (jwalther@minneapolis.polaristel.net
